Dr. Ateet H. Shah, MD was born in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. He received his MD degree from Northwestern University. Dr. Shah completed his general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. Dr. Shah completed his fellowship for Colon Rectal Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago/Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL.

He holds memberships with the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, Fort Wayne Medical Society, and Indiana State Medical Association.
